Wyndham City is gearing up for the Proudly Wyndham Business Expo, a free event dedicated to helping local businesses make valuable connections, showcase their expertise, and expand their networks. Taking place on Thursday, 28 November 2024, from 9 am to 4 pm at the Encore Events Centre, the expo is set to bring over 50 local exhibitors under one roof. This business-to-business event will offer insights from a range of industries, including digital marketing, accounting, finance, recruitment, IT, printing, and manufacturing, providing a real opportunity for businesses to broaden their horizons and foster local collaborations.

The expo promises more than just booths – it’s packed with interactive workshops led by industry experts, covering a variety of relevant topics. These sessions include ‘AI for Business,’ ‘Grow Your Business with Facebook Ads,’ ‘Cybersecurity Essentials,’ and ‘Energy Cost Savings for Business.’ Whether you’re looking to sharpen your SEO skills or learn how to leverage local data for growth, the sessions are designed to equip participants with practical tools to apply immediately in their businesses.

Wyndham City is also offering additional perks, like free professional headshots to help spruce up LinkedIn profiles, pitch decks, or social media pages. For many, this could be a perfect opportunity to enhance their professional brand.

The event marks Wyndham City’s first-ever business-only expo, reflecting the Council’s commitment to supporting the local business community with resources, networking opportunities, and practical advice. Council’s Business Support Hub will be there to field questions and provide guidance on services available, from digital resources and business permits to sustainability audits and small business recruitment toolkits.

Sponsored by RMIT and backed by partners like the Committee for Wyndham and the Tarneit Business Association, the expo also receives support from local organisations such as the Asian Business Association of Wyndham and the Werribee Business & Tourism Association.

The day will wrap up with an End of Year Networking Event from 5 pm to 7 pm, giving attendees a chance to wind down, reflect on their achievements, and build fresh connections as they head into 2025.

For those looking to gain new insights, meet local business leaders, and elevate their brand, the Proudly Wyndham Business Expo is an event not to miss. Registration is free and includes flexible options to attend the full day or individual workshops, allowing you to tailor the experience to suit your schedule.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
